Roof Refurbishment of offices and canteen – phase 1.

Problem:

A poorly installed previous coating had peeled off, exposing the old degraded felt roof system allowing water ingress into the canteen below. Tight budgets allowed only the worst affected section to be waterproofed in phase 1.

Solution:

A 15 year 3M Skotchkote cold applied liquid polyurethane overcoat system was specified by Proctor UK. All remaining previous coating was mechanically removed to allow the roof surface to be fully power washed and primed to achieve a high bond with the new cold applied liquid roofing system.
